About Me

My husband has named me "The Sewing Nerd"... and rightfully so. When I started making slipcovers I could spend hours on end in my make shift "sweat shop" in the depths of our basement. I LOVE what I do! Making slipcovers and giving old furniture a new lease on life. This is my journey for all of you to follow...helping others fall back in love with with those nasty, warn out hand-me-downs and of course few random projects along the way!

I am a mother of 2 awesome kids who love to help me "do work". I have an amazing husband who is supportive and helps lug furniture to my "sweat shop". Don't worry, he gets tipped for his manual labor... We have been married for 15 years and I have loved every minute of it! When I am not busy being a mom, wife and seamstress, you can find me at the barn riding my horse with my mini me!

 Along with furniture I also make custom pillows and bench cushions.  I love helping my clients pull fabric together as well as working with interior designers and tier clients!  Its a great way to feed my fabric addiction...
