Summer Madness

I am finally getting around to posting this morning.. I forget how busy summer can be.  I am a sucker for a good schedule and summer so far is killing me!  I have my kids doing all sorts of activities but its killing my productivity.. Oh well.. thats life!  The Utah Valley Parade of Homes wrapped up last week and one of my clients homes was in it this year.  It was soo fun to see my work in her home, even tho its just a small thing it was big to me!

Last week I dropped off a full living room redo!  I love this client of mine!  She was soo great to work with and loved how her furniture turned out!  Here is her from room before..

For her sofa we kept the lines the same but used a nice heavy cream linen. My client was sick of the color schemes and was wanting to shift rome the golds and greens to blues, creams and neutrals. Its amazing how it just brightens up the room!

I also made her some new pillow covers but I am loving how the blue pops off the couch!  So bright and fun.  Next to the sofa was this larger settee..
It has a rest shape, we just needed to update the fabric a bit..  We kept the lines the same here as well but changed it from a floral to a classic blue and white ticking stripe!  I love this fabric!!!  Its one of my all time favorites!  You can never go wrong wight  ticking stripe! See..

The cushion and pillows on the settee were all down filled... I just calls you to come a curl up on it!  I really loved how this one turned out!  She also had a pair of red arm chairs with an ottoman that she had me redo.. The backs were reupholstered, I normally won't do this type of chair but I could not refuse, It helped pull the whole room together!  here is the after..

I  mean... how great it that??  the chairs had a seat cushion with ties.  I love this blue ikat fabric.  It all tied in soo well together.  My client was soo happy with the transformation.  Her furniture was in great shape to start with, but its amazing how a little fabric change makes it feel like a whole new room!

i also did a another pair of wingback chairs in the infamous blue floral print.  This client found me why walking past the window at my sweat shop!  I love when people knock on the window while I am working to see what i am up too.  She loved this chair i did for another client soo much that she brought me 2 wingback chairs and the same fabric a week later!
Here are the before shots of her chairs:

I love the claw foot legs!  We kept the lines the same and tadah!

She really loved the shape of my other clients chair, it was super curvy and defiantly had a presence but I think these ones turned out just a great!  She also brought me a pair of parsons chairs to cover as well and she used the same fabric as these cute chairs!

I love taking the basic costco parsons chair and making them super fabulous!!  We added a full length box skirt and look at what a difference it makes!  This fabric is just soo happy!!  I can't wait for my client to see them today!!!

I am trying to finish up a bunch of couches and sectionals this week soo pray for my productivity!! lol!  I can't wait to post about them when they are done!  Did I mention I did an impromptu Slipcover Class last weekend.. ya.  so fun but not enough time in the days!! Right now I am book solid thru July and will be opening spots up for August!  Contact me to get on my list!  I used to try and schedule things out by the week but as of right now in the summer chaos, its who ever gets fabric first gets worked on..
